Advanced Filter and Codec Pack takes from the best, all the big name creators, several small guys too, and compiles all this into a single pack. All possible conflicts are already dealt with, many user suggested default settings are implemented.

Advanced Filter and Codec Pack does not contain a video player. This pack does not associates filetypes. With this pack installed, you will be able to use any videoplayer to play any video filetype such as quicktime, realmedia, avi, mpg etc. Streaming video can be played within web browsers.

By default, you shouldn’t need to make any adjustments to enjoy playback immediately. There are 14 shortcuts accessible through the startmenu under a single link, ‘Filter and Codec Pack’, for the setup and configuration of all that is installed.
