MSN Messenger is capable of saving [if the user chooses] the password on your computer in the encrypted form. MSN Password Finder v2.0 is capable of locating and decrypting this password.

The utility tried to load password using the ‘old method’, and in case it finds it, it displays the username as soon as the program is run. In case the ‘password-storage’ method used is the on found in Windows XP,2003 [Credential-API], then all you have to click on “Find Password!”. It will display the username and password associated with the MSNÂ Messenger account [passport account].

Tested on Windows XP [SP2] with MSN Messenger 7.0
